Jean Fambro McRae was a lifelong member of the Rockmart First United Methodist Church.  She was a Sunday School teacher, MYF counselor and Vacation Bible School leader.  Jean was active in the United Methodist Women and was a charter member of the Mattie Fambro circle, which was named for her mother.  She served as circle leader for many years.  There was hardly a job at the church that Jean did not do cheerfully and willingly -- from visiting the sick to cooking in the kitchen to serving on the administrative board.  Jean McRae was truly a leader among the women of our church. Our meeting times and locations vary.
